Austin is some kinda town. Great food, cheap beer, sweet people and lots of places to swim. I could add a few things to that list, but for quality of life, you don’t really need much else. We hung out with some old friends. We got to meet and hang out and have a few beers with designer/pal Curtis Jinkins. Justin David Cox, Cody Haltom, and the rest of the Public School homies even let me post up at their studio and get some work done while Niamh was off presenting all the research she has done this summer. 

So yes most importantly, the real reason we came to Austin, Niamh was speaking at a huge Ecology Conference. She is probably too modest to admit it, but the lady nailed it. Very proud. Happy to report that the Scout and a picture of me kind of pretending to be a field assistant made it into her talk. 

We landed back in LA last night to pick up the camper and continue on our journey. Thanks for the memories Austin. And the tacos.
